Lea Crisostomo is a student at Washington State University (WSU) pursuing an undergraduate degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, and a minor in Forestry. She works as an animal care service worker for WSU’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital and is currently an undergraduate teaching assistant. Lea is an active member of WSU’s official Wildlife Society (student chapter) and is also a group leader of WSU’s unofficial Wildlife Tracking club. Having been born and raised on the Island of Oahu, Lea grew up appreciating the unique and biodiverse landscape of the Hawaii Islands. One of her main goals as an environmental science major is to one day give back to her island community by gaining experience in invasive species ecology and management.
