Dear prospective applicant,
Thank you for your interest in applying for a USFS Hispanic Access Resource Assistant Fellowship (RA Fellowship).
The RA Fellowship is a professional development program aimed at:
- Introducing Latino and Latina students to natural and cultural resources careers in US Forest Service
- Providing opportunities to engage Latino communities with our public lands and their natural resources
- Empowering the next generation of conservation stewards
Through this enriching experience, RA Fellows will undertake research and/or resource protection activities throughout the United States. Program participants will be overseen by Hispanic Access Foundation, and will be placed directly in US Forest Service sites.
RA fellowships are one year long and will begin on January of 2018.
