Max Trujillo

Max is a Dual Degree Graduate Candidate of Water Resources and Community & Regional Planning at the University of New Mexico. Growing up near the southeast extent of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range, he learned early on about the importance of natural resource conservation efforts that sustain the diverse ecosystems of New Mexico. Max looks forward to the opportunity of expanding his knowledge regarding Middle Rio Grande riparian hydrology and ecology as a DFP intern with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. This experience will certainly aid Max in his career goals of contributing to solutions of water resource management and conservation for western U.S. watersheds that are increasingly impacted by climate change.
