Oscar Hernandez got his foot in the door with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service when he started interning for Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge through Hispanic Access. He now works there full-time as a permanent park ranger and Latinx liaison.

Moses Borjas from El Paso, TX, has dedicated the past five years to working on a campaign looking to designate Castner Range as a national monument. Since then, he has become a staunch advocate for the landscape that surrounds El Paso, which has gained momentum this year, getting them closer to their end goal.
