Sidney Sanchez

Sidney Sanchez attends Texas A&M University and is a 3+2 student, which is an accelerated program where she will earn her bachelor's degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences as well as her master's degree in Public Service and Administration both in five years. As a Doris Duke Conservation scholar, research assistant for the IUCN Small Mammal Specialist Group, and previous intern at the Natural Resources Defense Council, she hopes to work at an environmental NGO or agency to advocate for equitable and effective conservation policy. At Texas A&M, she is the Sustainability Committee Chair in the Student Government Association, Ecology & Conservation Biology Department Ambassador, and officer in the Zoological Society.
