My name is Fernando Lara, and I am a first-generation Latino college student. I am currently in my final semester at California State University of Long Beach where I am majoring in Geography with a concentration in Geographic Information Systems. I hope to take these tools and skills I have learned to aid in conservation efforts and education. I hope to gain much more knowledge and skills through this program and cannot wait excel in a career in conservation.
