Kameron Hall

Kameron Hall has spent most of his life living in an urban setting within the midsouth region of the US. Despite this, he has remained curious of the nature that remained around him. Kameron is a first-generation college student who enrolled at the University of Memphis; this decision opened many opportunities for him to enrich his lifelong curiosity on nature. Kameron has taken several courses in ecology, biodiversity, GIS, and remote sensing. His goal is to improve his understanding of the inner workings of the environment and how humans and other forms of life interact within their environments. While completing his coursework, Kameron pursed several opportunities to continue his goal which included working as a Doris Duke Conservation Scholar, working with the FGDC as a Geopathways Intern, working with the University of Memphis Center for Biodiversity Research, and working within several conservation intern positions with the Memphis Zoo. He has earned a Bachelors of Science in Biology, and will return to his studies to obtain a Master’s degree in the near future.
