The Diversity Award celebrates individuals who have made significant strides in fostering inclusivity and equity in wildlife conservation, contributing to a more diverse and representative field. With nearly 20 years of experience in conservation, environmental education, and STEM. Ribeiro is an environmental change maker having worked with nonprofits, government, informal science centers, and the outdoors.

Ribeiro will be formally recognized at the TWS2024 Annual Conference during the plenary session on Sunday, October 20, 2024, in Baltimore, Maryland.
