Elise Gustilo

Elise (she/her) is currently studying Environmental Science and Management with an emphasis in Ecology, Biodiversity, and Conservation at University of California, Davis (UC Davis). During her time at UC Davis, she has been able to work with a university-based soil science research lab, understanding the relationship between the extreme climate and mineralogical processes. Elise also worked with a local urban forestry non-profit organization, collaborating with the Davis community to plant trees and climate-ready plants across the city. She hopes to continue finding the balance between environmental education, community outreach, and conservation research.
