Peyton Wilson attended San Diego State University for her undergraduate degree, where she studied Environmental Science and competed for the SDSU Women’s Swim and Dive team. In 2019, she began working in an Environmental Toxicology lab, utilizing Zebrafish (Danio rerio) to assess developmental and endocrine toxicity of emerging contaminates. Since starting her MPH Graduate program in Environmental Health at SDSU in 2020, she has continued her research on emerging contaminates, and published a paper in the journal, Aquatic Toxicology. Peyton will graduate with her MPH in May 2021 and hopes build a career in conservation with a federal agency, focusing on water quality and its impacts on human, animal, and environmental health.
