Nicholas Belanger is a third-year Wildlife Ecology and Conservation student at the University of Florida. He is particularly interested in large mammals, human-wildlife interactions, and equity in the wildlife field. Throughout his time at the University of Florida, he has worked as a teaching assistant for a wildlife identification course, a camp counselor for a summer camp tackling food scarcity issues, and frequently volunteers in science education for students in the Gainesville area.
