Jasmine’s experience includes 2 years of work in the field of renewable energy focused on Indigenous Communities, as a solar installer and Teacher’s Assistant for Fort Lewis College’s Environmental Studies Program. She holds a BA in Environmental Studies from Fort Lewis College with coursework focused on Tribal Energy Sovereignty, Environmental Justice, exploitation linked to resource extraction in Indigenous Communities, and the energy transition in the Navajo Nation. Her contributions include improving environmental curriculums by advocating for Indigenous perspectives and requiring more Indigenous authors to better understand environmental issues and solutions. She is dedicated to understanding the relationships Indigenous Communities have with energy development, infrastructure, and Tribal Sovereignty. Jasmine is a member of the Navajo Nation.
